Ashlynn provided postpartum doula services for my family for about six months. I could not imagine a person better suited for my family during this time than Ashlynn—she is friendly, easy to talk to, a good listener, and energetic.

It was a blessing to have her assistance with various household tasks that felt overwhelming for me as a new mother (especially having no nearby family support). Sometimes, she would give me a much needed break by holding my daughter for me so that I could sit down and eat lunch. Other times, we would go on walks and talk about all things motherhood.

Ashlynn was my postpartum doula for about four months (between the time my baby was 3 months -7 months, I believe). She was a phenomenal doula and came alongside me, supporting me as a new mama of two. She provided exceptional help with household chores like folding laundry, sweeping and mopping my floors, unloading my dishwasher, washing dirty dishes in the sink, and chopping veggies for my dinner. I was able to tackle other cleaning while she worked on these tasks, lessening my work load for the week, which helped my mood and overall well-being a ton. She also provide great emotional support and practical help with breastfeeding questions as well as helping me learn to prioritize what’s most important to help decrease overwhelm. My kids adored her. She’d play with them and keep them entertained and happy while I fixed dinner or finished up cleaning bathrooms. I have no doubt that my postpartum experience was much different this second time around because of Ashlynn’s help and support.
